Weekly #writing #wip update - squeezed all my word count goal into today because probability assignment and a day-trip to see family ate into the rest of my spare time. Need to learn about native crows. Thought a lot about disability and grief. Oh, and someone in my critique group needed a swap, so I rushed of some very rough edits to get something in. Poor group, getting double submissions from me this month when I’m at my most lost. Hope you found time for your projects this week.

I haven’t played a video game since Witcher 3, but Diablo 4 beta has been really fun. Trying to get all my work done early today so I can go back to it.

The other half has convinced to play Diablo 4 beta this weekend despite needing to write 1500 words, go to Pomeranian meetup, critique group meet up, finish critiques, start probability assignment. “You can get a baby wolf in a backpack for the Druid.” I’m so cheaply bought.

Friday night #writing session. Still hopeful I can hit my weekly word count goal even though it’s been a bit of a shit week at work, but also busy for nice reasons, got to see my pa and take him antique shopping and we had lots of coffee and cakes. Oh, and I turned 41! Is fine, imma gonna live forever.

Weekly #wip #writing check-in, while I wait for my critique group to start (I need to get the gin and tonic ready.) 2,857 words added to the current manuscript. 45,285 manuscript total, too many words for not having hit the midpoint! Been thinking about craft problems I have and how and when to fix them. Worrying about genre when I don’t have one. Got no #books read, unless you count plodding through Probability for Dummies as needed. Hope you all have a great week, whatever you’re working on.
