People were getting “disconnected from the internet” errors, comments weren’t posting, live-streams that included any debate footage were taken down and then people had trouble with live-streaming in general, the search wasn’t populating. It was wild. Really showing their haste on that one. 🤣 my question is why? What are they hiding that could be any worse than what we saw last night? 🤣🤠 #uspol #debate

So this brings up an interesting question because #CNN just rushed out a warning to social platforms and even content creators who are big livestreamers threatening legal action if anyone besides CNN streams any portion of their content live… to which Elon Musk has said: GFY since presidential debates are public record and it’s fair use / not under DMCA. GM 🌞 A few thoughts on #censorship: I partially understand why disordered eating is a very heavily censored subject on social media - bc pro-ana people are icky - but how do we heal a wound that cannot reliably be discussed? I made a post yesterday about my recovery from chronic under-eating, and I felt like I had to choose my words very carefully to not attract the red flag from #TikTok. So far, so good, but it’s always interesting to me when whole topics (eating disorder, suicide, sexual assault, war, etc) are considered too dangerous to discuss. Maybe they’re just too hard to moderate so censorship-via-keyword-flag is a result of laziness at scale? Haha. Idk. Censorship is funny. Thoughts?

GM 🌞 wtf kind of horoscope is this, #costar ?! 🤣

Do you ever think about going on a domestic strike? Sometimes I just want to see how long it takes everyone in my household to realize I’ve ceased doing all the things. Lol

GM 🌞 Last night #RFK got on #Tiktok live with a whole panel of creators and answered questions in real time with intelligence and humility and compassion. The focus was mostly on food and pharma. The panel was a few people I already follow and a few I didn’t - mostly farmers, homesteaders, and permaculturists. They all asked amazing, thoughtful questions about everything from glyphosate to meat packing, and RFK answered them right off the cuff, super genuine and smart as a whip. It gave me a surprising sense of pride listening to my peers discuss policy and priorities with a candidate in a format that wasn’t corporate controlled nor scripted. It was almost like… healthy democracy. Not sure I’ve seen that in my lifetime tbh. Anyway, super interesting. Reminds me that the revolution will not be televised. 😆
