I am currently reading "The origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind" by Julian Jaynes . In this book, Jaynes proposes that ancient people were not conscious. They followed the commands given by the voices in their head, which they believed to be gods. Sounds a lot like modern NPCs. Sure, they have no voices in their heads - unless they are schizophrenic - but they follow commands given to them from legacy media. #consciousness #book #schizophrenic

I mean is anyone still reading those magazines? Worse most of them went full woke. I can't even submit my story if I am not Indigenous or something like that.
