I am a MSTR shareholder, but I’m no die hard BTC treasury guy—just stack sats.
That being said, I’m kinda surprised the BTC community seems to be pushing back on Saylor and calling it “defensive” or that he “lashed out” on Danny.
Of course he’s defensive! He’s defending his business and thesis. The same damn thesis we all have—your fiat is a melting ice cube. If not Bitcoin, what are you buying!? Fiat, Property, Gold, etc? I thought we all agreed that there is no second best 😅
Perhaps Jack didn’t listen to the full ep, but he’s literally creating products so his customers can seamlessly buy as few dollars as possible, i.e, Direct deposits converted into BTC, Bill Pay, BTC-backed loans. I love his products, but I’m confused why he’s not understanding where Saylor is coming from—why are we being critical of businesses putting BTC on their balance sheet instead of criticizing businesses buying Fiat cuck bucks. Saylor was simply criticizing Danny’s framing of the question. Whether its your personal finances, small business, or corporate strategy the thesis DOES NOT change.
Does anyone actually disagree with that?
@Danny Knowles @jack mallers @Michael Saylor should for sure hop on a pod and revisit the conversation. This is great content you psychos 🤪☮️💟
