Art lies in the moment of encounter: we meet our truth and we meet ourselves; we meet ourselves and we meet our self-expression. We become original because we become something specific: an origin from which work flows.

"If you’re with me, you’re the best of the best; if you’re against me, you’re a traitor or an enemy." Watching Trump master the language of populist politics makes me emotional. He reminds me so much of Erdoğan. Make America Turkey Again. 🇺🇸🇹🇷

Someone asks you a question? # Attack that person’s personality # Distort or exaggerate the question # Draw attention away from the original topic and start talking about something completely irrelevant. Congrats! You answer like a politician.

During my final years at university, most of the people around me were kids from punk bands or underground collectives. Half of them were aimless kids who had barely managed to finish high school and the other half were studying at the best universities in Turkey and spoke at least three languages. There was no in-between and you could never tell who was who. It was such an interesting demographic.

I can’t even describe how much pain something as simple as returning a product or preparing a document causes me. The realities of ADHD. It drains my soul.
