One thing that's been at the back of mind is that I feel like integration across racial boundaries took a step back again in South Africa. I saw fewer interracial couples, and fewer white people hanging out with black and coloured people. In general felt like everyone was keeping closer to their communities again. Not saying this a real thing, but it left enough of an impression, that I'm writing this.
