I see people complaining of why #nostr has so many shitcoiners, and other things not related to what they’re use to seeing here. Here is the thing, that’s a good thing, it means that the protocol is growing in content and different kinds of folk. If you continue to see content that YOU don’t like then you’re following the wrong npubs. The fact that diversity is introduced into the protocol should be considered a good thing, no matter if you agree with it or not. Of course, what did you expect from a permissionless protocol after all? Your echo chamber will be broken, if you so choose to. That’s the beauty, you have the choice to say no because you create your feed. A complain about people complaining gotta give you an idea

Binance is restricted in Venezuela. Told a friend to download @AQUA Wallet. Hopefully he can get it working and pay its bills (USDT is big there). If your #nostr Nsec gets compromised and you have to created another one. What will be one thing that the real you (with a new nsec) would do to differentiate from the impostor (hypothetically speaking you don’t want to dox yourself)?

Haven’t seen any client doing this but: An option to show repost X times and don’t show it anymore, or hide it behind a “would you like to see the same mf post again?”, would be nice. It gets kinda annoying to see the timeline full of the same reposts, or idk. Maybe 1K+ following is not enough now 😂

Bring everyone to WeChat or telegram (another one but controlled by China or Russia, which is well aligned with the C word)or created a bananistic version of it only for Venezuelan citizens. You can already tell what is it that good old Maduro wants. People is already taking steps to message privately, ephemeral messages are gonna be huge for Venezuelans and sadly, they’ll probably go to the second best (telegram).
