Money trilemma dumbed down:
Imagine you have three special balloons: one balloon makes everything in your world very stable and safe, another balloon makes sure everyone has easy access to all the things they need, and the last balloon lets you control how things work. But here’s the tricky part: you can only hold two balloons at the same time. If you try to hold all three, it doesn't work well, and you might drop one.
So, just like you can only hold two balloons, in the world of money, people often have to choose between stability, access, and control. They can't have all three perfectly at once.
The picture helps show this idea with three kids each trying to hold different balloons labeled "Stability," "Access," and "Control." The friendly teacher is explaining they can only hold two at a time.
