It’s painful but rewarding

One thing often overlook by people attached to legacy social media is the amount of effort and time they spend trying to build a perfect life; so much so that it creates a false sense of accomplishment in the user. It’s like selling a picture of a perfect burger when in reality, it’s a Mcdonals burger you’re getting, but hey, “At least we look good on Instagram”. It’s a mix pot with fake images of everyone trying to portray perfection. Nostr feels different so far (very niche). We will have our own instagram too, but that’s OK because we don’t need to use it if we don’t like it and still take our whole social graph to other clients unlike Meta and other legacy clients. Legacy clients… I like that word.
