Instead of immediately saying “Bitcoin!”, try opening the conversation with things people already find interesting: 🤖 1. Robotics & humanoids — Where is automation going, and what are the real bottlenecks? 🏗️ 2. Data centers & AI infrastructure — Who is actually building the power, cooling and hardware behind AI? 🧠 3. Wetware & biotech — What happens when computing, biology and neuroscience start converging? 🧪 4. New technologies & science — Which companies are working on technologies that could completely change entire industries? 📦 5. Digital infrastructure — How are businesses adapting to a world becoming increasingly automated and connected? Now you have a conversation. Maybe they’re not interested in Bitcoin yet. That’s fine. If they’re interested in the stock market, send them some of the research I have been doing my recovery time 🤕. Share my pictures with them. Let them explore it. 🟣⚡ A different way to talk about Bitcoin Lately I’ve been researching some interesting US & EU stocks connected to AI infrastructure: data centers, power distribution, cooling, optical networks, energy generation…Companies building the physical infrastructure behind the next technological wave. 🤖⚡But there’s another reason I’m doing this research. I’m thinking about the people around me who are still skeptical about Bitcoin. Instead of starting with: “Let me explain Bitcoin…” I can start with something they already understand: 📈 Stocks ⚡ Energy 🤖 AI 🏭 Infrastructure 🌐 New technology Then, somewhere along the conversation: By the way, I also invest in Bitcoin.” Maybe that creates curiosity. And if they ask “Why Bitcoin?” Now we have the conversation I wanted to have in the first place. 😂🟠 I’m not trying to convince anyone. I’m trying to find a door into the conversation. Sometimes the best way to get someone interested in Bitcoin is to start somewhere completely different. Wall Street first. If you want to educate a family member or a good friend who is still skeptical about Bitcoin — and therefore probably skeptical about Nostr — maybe starting with Bitcoin isn’t always the best way. Sometimes the conversation needs a different door. Start with old-fashioned Wall Street talk. 📈 Stocks. Companies. New technologies. Robotics. Humanoids. The bottlenecks these industries are trying to solve. Then, somewhere in the conversation, you casually mention: Bitcoin is another one of the things I’m interested in. Suddenly the conversation is different. They already understand investing. They understand technology. They understand that the future is being built by companies solving real problems. So why not use that curiosity to introduce them to Bitcoin? And maybe, eventually, Nostr For this reason I’ve been researching a list of interesting companies from the 🇺🇸 US and 🇪🇺 EU working on innovative technologies. I’m curious to see their reaction. Maybe we’ll have some fun… and maybe, without forcing anything, they’ll start asking the right questions about Bitcoin. Sometimes education is not about pushing harder. 🇺🇸🇮🇹 Healthcare is more complicated than “USA bad, Italy good.” The 🇺🇸 US can be brutally expensive without good insurance. 🇮🇹 Italy can provide excellent care with very low direct costs — especially in regions like Tuscany, where we have outstanding hospitals and surgeons. 🏥❤️ But the system has a price: regional inequality, bureaucracy, waste, corruption and staff shortages. And the SSN also provides care to millions of visitors and supports vulnerable immigrant populations, adding pressure to a system where many healthcare workers already work extremely hard for modest salaries. This summer’s lake adventures in the USA took an unexpected turn. 🇺🇸🏕️ Unfortunately, I won’t be back at the shop as soon as I expected, so I’ll be away from the counter for a while.
