The algorithm is trying to make me fearful and panic. I wonder why? We know they engineer boom and bust cycles to force people to sell their real assets at cheap prices. But I guess that only works if we're not wise to it. Because what if we don't sell? Or what if we're holding outside money that actually appreciates during the bust? That would make us hard to take advantage of. They would have to shake us out some other way. Fearful. Panic. I wonder why?

Claude is unreasonably better than chatGPT. I'm using continue.dev to plug Claude into VS code and frankly, it's blowing my mind.

Getting more seriously back into design and dev after 15 years. Getting to hello world with a modern IDE and git for a sveltekit app on vercel in production in about four hours. Getting a working prototype of an anonymous messaging app on Nostr in another four hours. Confident it would have taken me a month 15 years ago. Instead, up in 8 hours. Lesson in this.

Once you understand the system and how the world is you have a choice. Do you fight the system in pursuit of justice and in so doing impoverish yourself and meet the ire of your friends who are all so hopelessly lost in the system that they would fight you to defend it. Or do you join the system despite its injustice and in so doing enrich yourself and be celebrated by your friends even as you knowingly and willfully exploit them. It's crazy to have to make this choice.
