A really wow Nostr interoperability moment. Put my key into 0xChat, found joined and posted in a public chat room. Then when I came back to Amethyst found my chat in the main timeline! Public chat in tl is great for discovery. This interop still blows my mind.

The thing that gets me about all media coverage on rate cuts is the framing. No one is framing rates as normal presently. Only as higher than normal. The implied assumption is that rates will be cut back to zero and that their rise was explicitly temporary.

ECB and Canada Central banks just cut rates again. Before inflation is controlled. Before their balance sheets have reduced. Scene set for full asset melt up. Are we really doing this?

Has anyone got any tricks for interfacing npubs with the real world? E.g. gving physical objects decentralized identifiers. Whether by QR or NFC tag or any other means.

How many unique npubs can there be? If it's based 32 bit hex then isn't that only 4bn? Is that enough? #asknostr

What best practices exist for multi-account creation and management. E.g. creating nostr logins as if onboarding a team. Any admin tools available? Any best practices for key management? User roles and rights? For account creation, I think there's a good method with a single set of BIP-39 words, and then iterated BIP-85 index numbers to create hex privkeys. What other issues have people encountered? What should I keep my eye on?

MtGox distribution explains the price suppression over the last month. Price suppression? Each day 10* more coins are being bought than mined. Price should rise to accommodate but hasn't. It's possible to depress price with derivs, but who and why? You're on Wall Street trying to get coins for your clients, your boiler room is calling all OG coiners. You're aware the identity of MtGox creditors and that MtGox distribution is coming, you arrange to buy from MtGox OGs once distribution is made at the market price at the time. You're incentivised to keep that price as low as possible so that your clients get set at the best price. And so, I guess 1) Those MtGox coins that would be sold are already bought. 2) once those sales complete there is no further need to depress price, and we enter a new price discovery phase. Just a theory.
