We bought the house we've been renting for 5 years on Tuesday. One thing we've wanted the whole time we've lived here has been ceiling fans. We own the house now. We bought ceiling fans online (at around 20% off) on Wednesday. They got here yesterday. I installed 3 of 5 in the last hour. 1 more tomorrow in the baby's room. The last one we'll return for the next size up and I'll install that the next time my grandparents visit since it will require running new wiring and installing a fan junction box to mount it to. It feels awesome to just do things. #justdoit #grownostr

The tree pictured is a dying silver maple, my grandfather suspects a choke root. The soil-filled box in the foreground is preparing a spot for a sugar maple to replace it.
