gradually, then suddenly. the babies are in size 1 diapers now! gonna be putting them in cloth diapers soon. we already do cloth diaper laundry for taro so adding two more babies' worth won't be much more of a hassle. #momstr

mom: you're hungry and you should eat. I'm gonna make you some food. kid: no need, mom. I'm fine. mom goes to make food and comes back with a plate and sets it in front of kid. mom: I made you some food. it's really good. eat. kid: I said I didn't want to eat. mom: well, you really should but I'm not gonna make you. mom leaves and goes about to do other mom things. she returns some moments later... mom: well, if you're not gonna eat it. I'll have a few bites. kid watches and then starts to eat also. kid: mmm this is really good. I guess I was hungry after all. --- you think this is a story between taro and I. nope! I got mom'd by my mom. only after I finished my whole plate did I realize I use the same tricks she uses to get me to eat. #momstr

with taro, clipping his nails as a newborn was a mom-dad joint effort. with churro and falco, I did them both myself without a second thought. my, how quickly things change.

the weather is so nice this evening. warm with a cool, constant breeze, shade from the trees. yet no one else at the park but us. taro has free reign over all the play structures. churro and falco are napping to the natural white noise of leave rustling. #momstr

today I saw a video of someone preparing wool fiber on a carder, spinning the yarn and weaving a scarf. then listed the scarf for sale at $450. it was shown as sold out. that gives me confidence to do the things that I want to do.
