Sock knitting has been on my mind a lot lately. Before the babies, I had started the beginnings of a plan to sell wool socks so I can bring in a little side income. It is weird to pick up where I left off because so much has changed for me. Not just because I'm a mom now with limited time but the digital selling landscape is so different. Now the plan has evolved to use lightning and Bitcoin instead of PayPal and Etsy. I don't have to go through the rigamarole of gaming the algorithm of Instagram for clout and virality. I have nostr now and while I'm not likely to blow up overnight, I think I prefer to plod along at my own pace and keep it authentic. For those who have outstanding orders with me, I'm working on them steadily. I'll be pming you as I make progress.
