it is really interesting to see how different parenting is for fathers. yesterday taro had flipped over a stool. sometimes I let him do his thing but it was late in the day and I was worried that he'd be too uncoordinated around it. I asked husband who was on the floor with taro "hey, can you flip that over for him?" In my mind, I'm expecting dad to just flip it over. that's what I would have done. Instead, dad went into teaching mode and helped taro flip it over himself. Get your hands under here and here, okay, get low and now stand up! It took a few tries but taro did it and was very satisfied with himself. And then he flipped it back upside down, with glee. #parenting #dadstr #momstr

I haven't done as much knitting as I wanted this long weekend but I am making progress!

A fun, busy long weekend and we're only halfway through. So far, we went to a Star Wars Day event that our community of put on, visited with friends, had dinner at a fancy-schmancy place and now we're doing chores to get the twins nursery together. have a good weekend everyone!
