My MIL just smash bought $1000’s more in bitcoin tonight. Right now, she’s in it for NGU, but she is also starting to slowly understand it. Finally got the mother-in law to buy bitcoin today and it went straight to the @Blockstream freezer. Been working on her for months now and I’m quite surprised that she’s actually trying to learn about Bitcoin which is pretty cool considering she’s almost 70. The older generation will eventually come around, most of them are not very tech savvy or even understand money, even if they have boatloads of it.
