Salt is an essential nutrient. It is not a case of “the less salt you consume the better”. We need about 30 vitamins and minerals. Salt(sodium chloride) is needed in large quantities, relative to all the others. The optimum amount daily is about 10 grams(2teaspoons) a day. How do we know this is optimum ? -well this the amount people who live the longest have. Furthermore when people are in hospital and can’t eat or drink, (there are numerous reasons for this), they receive about 9g of salt daily in intravenous fluids.

“The most important Manhattan Projects of the future will be vast government- sponsored inquiries into . .. the problem of making people love their servitude." "To make them love it is the task assigned, in present-day totalitarian states, to ministries of propaganda, newspaper editors and schoolteachers. But their methods are still crude and unscientific." Aldous Huxley, 1946

Man creates institutions to satisfy his social needs in accordance with his philoso- phy. Individuals join these institutions and make their personal interests fuse with those of the institutions, on whose wealth and power their own prospects depend. What follows is that very soon these institutions begin to serve their own interests rather than social needs. As time goes by the social needs and philosophy change, but the institutions don't; they remain fighting for their own inter- ests until they are swept away by revolution, often at the price of much suffering, bloodshed and devastation. Man grows by virtue of these upheavals; he becomes, then, like a snake, bursting his skin periodically. The emergence of modern science has greatly speeded up these changes. Most of our social institutions now serve mainly their own interests while pretending to serve the purpose for which they were created. This holds equally for armies, churches or governments and means that we are living in a hypocritical world, one of false pretenses, one which is now being rejected wholesale by our youth. Albert Szent-Gyorgyi

No power steering. No anti-lock braking. No automatic transmission. No radiator/ water pump. Only one ECU (for fuel injection). No parking assist. No rain sensors. No remote unlocking. Why do they sell for so much ? 🤷🏼 image

If you have injured your back by lifting, falling etc. Rest. Lie on a firm bed in a comfortable position on your back or side. Minimise movement. Don’t do stretches, exercises or get physiotherapy. Don’t take painkillers. Don’t see a surgeon until you have done the above for at least 1 month with no improvement. Pain is the bodies way of encouraging rest. The body can heal itself but it can only do this when it is not moving. Imagine a mechanic trying to repair your car engine while it is running ! Please note that your doctor will probably tell you to do the opposite of the above.

Social “Justice” “In the last century, political psychopaths used convenient ideologies like communism, fascism, and Islamism to achieve absolute power in multiple countries—ideologies with wide appeal and enough public support to carry them to the top, often unbeknownst to the naïve true believers caught up in the madness and clearing the way for them. (When the time comes, it is the true believers’ turn to be purged.) Social justice is just such an ideology. This is why it is a Trojan horse. To their critics, ideologies are bad enough on the surface, as they are simplistic, destructive, and often just plain wrong. But it’s worse than even these critics imagine. Such ideologies are the means by which social structures are completely destroyed and replaced by pathological caricatures.” Excerpt from Political Ponerology: The Science of Evil, Psychopathy, and the Origins of Totalitarianism Andrew Lobaczewski This material may be protected by copyright.

Question to anyone who has studied biology. Given that cells can shrink and expand due to osmotic changes, what happens to the cell membrane ? Is it elastic like a balloon ? Does it pucker up during shrinkage and then possibly split during expansion ? Large Zap reward for good answers.

When humans lived in small groups or villages, (which is for most of our history), it was very difficult to benefit from being dishonest. Everyone knew everyone else and it was very hard to keep secrets. Alpha male leaders who were fair and cooperative had an advantage over those who ruled by aggression and bullying. Cooperation was extremely important. If someone was caught cheating they risked being expelled from the group. Reputation was everything. Good luck trying to find a new group to join as a stranger ! With the development of larger towns and then cities, and ease of travel, it has become much easier to benefit from cheating until we have the sorry situation today. Free speech is very important because it lets us know who has been cheating. There are countless ways we can be cheated today ; not just through money creation but also through marketing, advertising, propaganda, obfuscation of “inconvenient” science, the inversion of incentives in medicine and law, growth of governmental bureaucracy and on and on.
