Gmail was "better" probably due to them wanting as many customers as possible, but it was still hard, I get Blocked on all the sms sites MoneroSMS gets flagged and is unusable. Sms4sats is hit or miss, but did get me Gmail verified and its Cheap 🌚. If you can buy a dedicated number as cheap as possible. But back to FB, Facebook after signing up ask for a selfi after email AND number verified, a Video selfi. X gave me cancer for a week on "Spaming" I never have these issues on actual decentralized platforms and protocols such as nostr. Probably why I think most SM is a cancer.
