I joined #nostr just over a week ago. I've had an account for most 2 years but rarely used it. I was mostly on x, hoping for some traction after Elon took over. but after a while I gave up seeing no appreciable increase in exposure. if I'm going to shout into the wind it might as well be at the behest of a foss protocol instead of an $8/mo free-speech scam. my timing was coincidental to the TikTok ban/not-ban. glad to be on the nostr train #introductions
