I think at this point I'll just block anyone who says anything like "person is bad" as arguments. Say a conversation goes, Person A "Wow, this group of people are doing horible things X, Y, and Z." Person B "Yea? Well the other group does just as much if not more!" People writing/speaking like person B contribute nothing to discourse. Even when questioned, nothing. #politics

This seems like a neat idea, maybe we should copy this idea here in the States. If I understand correctly, it's a place to learn about the regions they serve, as well as run public interest programs. Came across this article which reminded me how stupid we were to pull out all our businesses. Some, sure, but fast food? I remember thinking about this when it happened. So, you have a building. McDonald's owns it. They have employees, and they sell food. "We'll have McDonald's pull out, that'll show them! Sanction! Sanction! Sanction!" But that building, and those employees, and that business structure is all still there. So now instead of license fees being sent back to the States, they just keep all that money in Russia. Seriously, we could have done a better job. Thinking of #Russia and #Ukraine Here's my solution. Ukraine becomes a neutral state with low or no army, think like Japan for most of the last century. Ukraine keeps most of its territory. Perhaps lose a small bit for Russia to access Crimera. But preferably keep all of it. Ukraine remains autonomous, with exception for defense. So then #NATO and Russia have joint military bases. Literally 50/50, and properly mixed up. We don't want NATO buildings on one side and Russian on the other. This effectively stops any issues in the borderlands. Ukraine's economy will boom, and war between east and west becomes much harder to begin. What do yall's think? #Politics #grownostr #philosophy #peace #asknostr
