#asknostr Almost all algramithic reccomendations and advertisements are offensively wrong for me. Take youtube reccomendations for example. Unless it's something I'm currently watching or subscribed to, the algos send me stuff I actively dislike. Does this mean I'm so different from the masses that this stuff doesn't work on me? Or is it more like general phishing where it doesn't work on some percentage of the population? Ads are basically the same. If the ads are not targeting the subject matter of whatever I'm trying to engage with, it's something I would never buy.
