Been trying to get my barber to accept Bitcoin for about a year. He was interested but he is not good with technology. From the Azores but moved to canada in 2016 to work construction but his real passion is 💈 He’s a real artist and is very clearly meant to do hair and beards, he does it after work in his basement. He was laid off from his full time construction job about a month ago because of the trade war. Today, I finally got him setup to accept Bitcoin with a @Blink Wallet ! His Lightning address is maniqas@blink.sv if anyone’s feeling generous to give him an onboarding zap! image

I could get behind a Canadian Bitcoin Treasury Company and stake my reputation on it. I have been in Bitcoin since 2011 and I doubt I’m ever going to NOT be in Bitcoin. I have been a fomosapien for a few of those cycles, getting sucked into ICOs and other activity bias / fomo driven cycles. I have some FOMO about the opportunity side of bitcoin treasury companies, but what’s different this time is that this is both a short term opportunity to make make in a bubble AND a long term fundamentally sound strategy built on a foundation of bitcoin. So for this reason, I’m in. ₿ 🍴 🧟

Last year I told my niece if she went through @nat brunell's Swan course I’d pay her $1000 in BTC. She did it and it’s now worth $2000. She just finished school for the year and she asked to do some more Bitcoin studying. What should I have her do now? She’s 20 years old.

I recently moved and found some OG packs of MTG Ice Age that I thought I lost! I had been saving these and then one time years ago brought them to the local store and let the top 3 winners of Friday Night Magic open a pack and keep the cards. Then I never found them again. I guess I’d asked the manager for a box and he gave me a vista print box that his biz cards were in. They got put in with our office supplies and I just randomly came across them today looking for business card stock to Print some BTC tip cards on 🤣 image

I have a massive beard and I’m getting the urge to shave it. What are some funny short ideas that I can film for a before & after? Once concept I had was to film some dialogue with myself. Bearded me could be a grizzled hodler who’s seen the horrors of 4 90% drawdowns and clean shaven me could be an excited any bushy tailed first time bitcoin buyer. Another concept was I could film myself “getting into bitcoin” and then 1 week later I’ve got a portfolio of 100 shitcoins my wife has left me and I’ve got a massive homeless man Beard, ranting about how the federal reserve is going to use XRP to settle bank to bank transfers. Any other ideas send them my way!

I’m putting my mouth where my money is by starting a Media Company. I’m hiring a Bitcoin Sherpa, base pay $60K CAD on target earnings $150K CAD! POW Media aims to help 1 million people start saving in Bitcoin & create10K self-custody Wholecoiners. We make content to hit multiple pillars: 1) Bitcoin education - viral reels for average people on Instagram 2) Shining the light - highlighting companies I’ve invested and telling their stories, as well as initiatives I’m backing or donating to. 3) Business & Investing - mostly podcast highlights with entrepreneurs and bitcoin founders / investors geared to educate HNWIs 4) Low Time Preference Lifestyle - aspirational content for Instagram designed to show entrepreneurs and HNWIs how using bitcoin as a Treasury Reserve asset can help them buy their time back and slow down. (We will also still be doing the D&D podcast for funsies) The other side of POW Media is consulting with entrepreneurs & HNWIs to hold their hand on their journey to self sovereignty. We are doing Bitcoin coaching and I’m hiring Bitcoiners to help with that side of the business. I’m hiring an important role now - a Client Success Manager. You’ll work directly with me to guide entrepreneurs and their families in adopting Bitcoin self-custody. In this role, you’ll design seamless onboarding processes, engage clients proactively, and develop systems & SOPs to ensure we set people on the right path, focusing on getting them early wins & becoming promoters of our product. If you want to directly contribute to people’s financial empowerment, and you’re passionate about empathetically & effectively orange pilling - you can make a meaningful impact with me 💪

Is there an easy app for my grandmother to use to sell her socks for sats? Looking for something simple to take orders, keep track of who ordered what and fulfill the orders as she makes the socks.

My grandmother is coming up on 90 and she’s been following Bitcoin for the last 5-10 years, texting me the price when it makes new all time highs, celebrating with me. She has a token amount on an opendime but she was asking me all kinds of questions about how to buy bitcoin and how people spend it and how I fund my lifestyle with bitcoin. I finally got her setup with a blink wallet, nanny@bitcoin.sv Then we randomly came up with an idea to sell her socks for sats 😂 She makes sought after socks 🧦, the family always fights over them. She makes them and donated them to the local library. She’s taking orders!

Here’s a heads-up you’ll thank me for later. @I)ruid, a legendary Bitcoin OG and game designer (also a backer of TVP, a top Bitcoin venture fund), has launched Bitcoin CCG, a new Bitcoin collectible card game. Druidian was among the first to mine Bitcoin alongside Satoshi and is passionate about digital art and collectibles. Right now, he’s crowdfunding Series 1 on @Geyser, and you can grab it at a great price. I recommend snagging a Booster Pack Box for ~$160 (165k sats): Similar Bitcoin collectibles that I’ve backed have been worth parting with the sats - either they go up in value or they promote bitcoin culture and support bitcoiner job creation. Don’t sleep on this one =P image

I'm scaling up a media company, POW Media. I'm focused on making viral inspirational, educational & entertaining content about Bitcoin. We have a media team and a revenue team. I'm going to be hiring people who will be in the client success side, revenue/sales, media & leadership roles. I'm bitcoin-only and focused on the mission of getting 1 million people to setup a bitcoin savings plan and getting 10,000 wholecoiners taking self custody of at least 1 BTC. I'm not going to be able to recruit exclusively Bitcoin maximalists, so I wonder how founders of bitcoin-only companies deal with the topic of employees posting about crypto/non-bitcoin stuff. I don't want to be "censoring" my employees but I also don't want entropy in the signal that I’m broadcasting (Bitcoin-only.) For bitcoin founders … do you make it a non-negotiable that employees can't talk about crypto or any other topics publicly? If so how do you enforce that? If not, what’s the strategy? Feel free to DM me if you don’t want to post publicly.
