Is $7500 USD too much to pay for bookkeeping and tax filing for 2 personal returns and corp return?

I was really looking forward to speaking at and attending the Miami Bitcoin conference. I had a lot of great events lined up, but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to attend anymore. I was excited to announce ack.vc and start telling folks what #[0] and I are up to with ACK Capital (accepting LPs who are interested in getting exposure to early stage bitcoin, Nostr & p2p web/bitcoin adjacent startups.) However, my mother-in-law was just diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia out of nowhere and she is starting chemotherapy tomorrow. Everyone’s holding up good so far, but my heart is telling me to stay home. So I’m going to have to forego the event and make sure I’m there to support my wife & daughter though this emotional time. If anyone has any suggestions of podcasts or books I can go through to help my wife and daughter process the roller coaster of blood cancer, I’d appreciate some resources that helped you. I’ll be attending the Canadian Bitcoin Conference coming up next month, and if you’re looking for funding for your startup, feel free to reach out to myself or NVK!

Inspired by all of the highly regarded crypto morons wiping their shitstains all over the blockchain, I’ve channeled by anger to incentivize a new series of bitcoin art. Derpy Wizards. It’s just starting, and it’s shaping up nicely.

I was invited to speak at Bitcoin 2023 and I wasn't going to go because I don't really like travelling for conferences, especially to America. However, I decided I *am* going to go, primarily because Eric Weis invited me to Saylor's BBQ and Alex Gladstein invited me to an HRF event. (I don't like massive crowds unless it's for doing fun things.) What yacht parties and private sauna rituals or secret society meetups should I try to get invited to? Any steak dinners or seed oil protests I should be aware of?

The amount of random people from my past asking me about random shitcoins has gone down to pretty much zero over the past year … but I just got this message. It’s been 10 years since I spoke to this guy. Interesting look into the psyche of people. He literally has no clue that bitcoin is different than crypto, he thought they were all the same just that bitcoin is more expensive 😱 He doesn’t gamble normally but for some reason he thinks it’s smart not to buy random crypto coins. When I offered him some valuable advice and help, he stopped responding.

I just invested in digtl.co last night. Digital securities on Bitcoin layers, done ethically. If you’re building a bitcoin or Nostr business, you should consider using Digtl instead of angellist, carta or some other fiat cap table product.

I never really got Cashu or Fedimint. After a long call with Jeremy Hill and Jonathan Wilkins during our catchup call (I invested in their startup), they explained how they were going to be using Cashu for their bitcoin powered VPN network … I had to ask a lot of questions but I think I finally understand it. It seems like it is a way to do allow for *infinitely scalable* and *private* transactions of sats. 🤯 Is real? Am I understanding it properly? If so, and if it works, how is this not one of the most incredible developments in Bitcoin history!?

I told my 86 year old grandmother about AI and how soon it’ll be able to do anything. She said “tell it to rise the price of Bitcoin” Actually, that’s a very good idea and I think I will 🤔

#ChatBTC LLM twitter tool 💡 In the world of Bitcoin, it's not uncommon to come across different communities that have complaints adjacent to Bitcoin. As a Bitcoin evangelist, it can be frustrating to not have the time and patience to engage in deep conversations with individuals who have concerns or questions about Bitcoin, CBDCs, UBI, capitalism, and inflation. However, what if there was a way to enable an AI version of ourselves to engage in thoughtful conversations with these individuals? That's where the Bitcoin LLM social media posting bot comes in. The idea is to build a tool that would allow us to use bots that emulate our personalities and engage in conversations with Twitter nocoiners. These bots could be new accounts, or connected to existing Twitter accounts and engage in long, thoughtful conversations with individuals who have concerns or questions about Bitcoin or bitcoin adjacent topics. The bots could use random time intervals between replies, come back to the conversation a day or two later, quote-tweet to start new conversations, and refer people to YouTube videos or other blog posts with time stamps and quotes from other Bitcoiners - all to make it harder for the left and middle curvers to tell they’re engaging with a bot. One of the significant advantages of this tool is that it would enable us to engage more actively in conversations that frustrate us with people who are thick-headed and stuck in their ways. It could also help increase financial literacy around Bitcoin, the economy, and the problems with wealth inequality, banking and money. The tool would be most useful for orange pilling individuals who are already the most active 2% in a group, who are fertile soil form planting bitcoin seeds. The tool could help engage individuals wh but have some sort of hang-up where they think Bitcoin is a digital currency in the same vein as CBDCs, and therefore, it is bad. By engaging in long conversations with these individuals, we can help them understand the benefits of Bitcoin and increase their financial literacy. To achieve this, we can use social graph analytics platforms hive.one and Social Forensics. These platforms would help us find Bitcoiners who are like us and train the bot on that group of people to create avatars. With this, we can create different personalities that would engage in conversations with individuals who have questions or concerns about Bitcoin. In conclusion, the Bitcoin LLM bot is an innovative solution that would help increase financial literacy and engage in thoughtful conversations with individuals who have concerns or questions about Bitcoin. By enabling an AI version of ourselves to engage in these conversations, we can help individuals understand the benefits of Bitcoin and increase their financial literacy.

I want the piece I wrote on the banking crisis to be read by people. Apparently it's too long and detailed for the Western Standard newspaper in Canada (who I wrote it for). Releasing it on my own blog or Nostr seems anticlimactic. I want it on a real news site. should I try to get it on zerohedge or Forbes or something like that?

I woke up, wife is sick with mystery cough for 3 weeks now. Wanted to have a good start to the day, so I did some pushups and stretches while listening to the RRR soundtrack. Made my coffee, opened Damus & saw a couple of great posts, saw Jason Williams joined, sent some zaps. For some reason I went on Twitter - saw #[0]'s tweet about his LinkedIn engagement, went down a rabbithole of reading and replying to all the idiotic takes in the LinkedIn comments. Wrote a couple linked in posts and Facebook posts. Back to Twitter, go into a Twitter space about ordinals, get triggered by stamps growing the UtreeXO set, urge to go on stage and shake them all. Went to cafe Bitcoin space, heard Natalie Brunell and that calmed me down a bit (there is hope!) ... then the regulars start talking a bunch of nonsense, moving the convo away from Natalie. Scrolling on Twitter and see the NYT fud piece, pretty agitated again. Switch to clubhouse and we're taking random shit - wife asks me something and I reply to her in a snarky voice. Back on Damus now listening to some lofi - feeling calmer, a little upset with myself for spending 2 hours on social media getting worked up giving my attention to negative bs. Might need to hit the sauna or the bath. Whatever I can do to avoid opening up my 6.15 km long to-do list.
