I’ll never be more bearish on American Soccer than after a morning of watching YMCA youth soccer.
Sure most of the kids are terrible but it’s the parents who are really at fault. Cheering on “big kicks”, enabling infantile behavior, and victory tunnels for 4 year olds that lost 10-0…I’m increasingly of the opinion the US will not win a World Cup in my lifetime.

8 months ago I started a hat company by buying a stack of hats and thinking I'd build something around the premise that our community lacked quality, well branded hats that weren't over the top.
Then reality set in. With four kids under 8, a podcast to grow, and a day job, it's hard to get fired up about hat margins when time is the real constraint.
The idea is that that we are all downstream of Satoshi, not by blood but by conviction. He handed off the blueprint and walked away, and its on all of us to carry it forward.
The hats were step one, they just never made it out the door.

That said, The angine de poitrine band is probably demonic. The worship of the non-beautiful at its core is at its core demonic because everything that is beautiful derives from and points to God.
…sure it’s a modern take on Dadaism in a musical form and a response to overly formulaic approach to pop music for the last 30 years but it also demonic.

Sure white collar workers will lose their jobs but on the flip side when I can build a competing business model in a month which took my employer 10 years to build, why would I want to stay?
