@ODELL I’m gift shopping for my wife’s 40th…at one point you put out a note about a place where you buy gold jewelry. What was the name of that?

I’m kind of fascinated by the number of Christians on Nostr. It’s an anomaly and one can draw some fun conclusions to ascertain the why.

If you think about it, all athletics are the legend of Sisyphus in action. You won! Great now do it over again. And again. And again.

I’m gonna try this for a month: Every time I go to buy a non-essential I’m gonna stop and buy Bitcoin instead. That random Amazon buy - Nope. Bitcoin.

Nostr’s killer feature? The community’s total ambivalence. Drop something brilliant…no one reads it. Post something gloriously stupid…relax, little sheep, still no one reads it. Nostr is essentially ones own notepad that randomly a digital stranger might like or throw a sat at.

What a diss. I just completed an outdoor run on my new Apple and it congratulated me on my “Walk Workout Record”. 🤦🏻‍♂️

One of my biggest takeaways post Covid is that we are programmable beings and becoming aware of that truth has changed a lot about how I interact with the world.

I interviewed my dad tonight. His childhood, what he knows of his dad and grandfather. My grandfather ran away from his family farm in Minnesota to attend University of Minnesota, and then started a business (before losing it all…) Highly recommend. Working on developing a working legacy story for my sons. There is something to knowin to your origin.
