Here’s a non-popular take: ever since I’ve started down the rabbit hole of learning about real history (e.g. Confessions of an Economic Hitman and others) the more I’ve had the desire to disassociate from the US Government. I have always loved our flag and the ideals it stands for but we can’t deny that it stands for something very different internationally if you’re being bombed or regime changed by people representing that flag. This doesn’t take away from the patriotism I feel for this nation but it does inform what imagery I invest in. Here’s a flag that I will be displaying more.
