Just passed an elementary school that is having their pick up for end of day. In the line is a bunch of daycare busses to transport these poor kids to their next jail cell. We need to judge harder parents who outsource their parenting and raising of children. It’s a blessing and an honor not a burden.

Watched "Complete Unknown" on the flight back from last week. Was Bob Dylan as garbage a human as the film portrays? Was hard to watch...but maybe that was the acting?

I don’t know who needs to hear this but you can just let your kids play at the playground. There are dads at this playground contorting their bodies to navigate spaces alongside their kids in equipment whose designer never imagined attachment parenting of this variety. Let em explore, try things, fall and be there when they do.

These social media companies are building these large AI models and adding lots of AI features for….what again? What does social look like in an age of AI? Probably not social networks since digital trust will continue to plummet. They might be better investing in coffee shops as the future of social will be increasingly in-person. Or at least let’s hope so.

I’m at a conference near a major university so I asked some students eating near me about AI. My takeaway: they’re absolutely screwed. One even admitted that investing in her degree (Advertising) was “a bit of a gamble, but figured a human would always be involved because you can’t really replace human creativity”. She graduates in 2028.

Putting aside my biblical view on marriage, strictly socially speaking it doesn’t seem there is enough appreciation for heterosexuals. Without us, none of us exist.
