I just plucked a gray hair out of my nose…

It’s kinda wild to think that there are celebrated teams of engineers and product folks at these social media companies (including this one) strategizing about how to get all of us to spend more time on their platforms despite all we know about the detrimental impacts of screen time and social media.
This is what worries me about AI, not the tech itself but the abilities of individuals to make products that they know aren’t good for humans when corporate interests are prioritized. The question with AI, is will we be able to keep our team humanity hats on when each of us are having conversations in our businesses about its development and integration in our industries.
This quote from Edward O. Wilson that Breedlove mentioned on his recent podcast seems pertinent:
“The real problem of humanity is the following: We have Paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions and godlike technology. And it is terrifically dangerous, and it is now approaching a point of crisis overall.”
While I would argue his view of God wasn't big enough, he accurately identifies the ingredients of the current conundrum.
Black Lives Matter riots have been reactivated as Tesla protests.
These tactics are so basic. It almost makes you miss the really evil baddies like Henry Kissinger. As least that pedo was smart.
Anybody have a good/bad expert with the folks from The Bitcoin Way?
Admitting you need help with your self custody set up feels like coming out as retarded but I figure another set of eyes could help.
I was made for this era of AI.
A student in high school cause it was easy, C’s and D’s in college because there were better things to do and yet I’ve always loved to read and write.
Which means, I now have in my pocket a giant computer that can do all of the stuff I’d rather not do and have the ability to manipulate it to my exact needs.
That said, this period of hopeful optimism will be replaced by something darker.
I think my favorite Doge story is that the Treasury paid all invoices with zero accountability or oversight.
Maybe this is how Politicians become rich…
I’d like to see a CEO or talking head come out and just say it.
“In a couple years a whole lot of you aren’t gonna be needed. So hopefully you’re stacking sats.”
Here I am enjoying a nice zen moment in my favorite part of our property when my dog decides to join me.

Full transparency here, I thought Anne Frank lived.
Doesn’t this tarnish her legacy a little bit?
I got married when I was 30 and will be celebrating a10 yr anniversary coming up next year. Looking back at my 20’s where I had a well paying job, a good group of friends and near infinite time. I can reflect on the power of friction in one’s life.
Without it, even the good times feel like a struggle.
Now, with very little time and lots of opportunity for friction (sleepless night with a baby, job stress and infinite ways in which to spend money on a young family) life has never been better.
It’s almost like life was designed for this.
So get this, I have a podcast and it’s not about Bitcoin.

Would appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for our family.
What’s happening in Europe (e.g. digital currency rollout, bail-in of banks to fund war and complete censoring of free speech) was the plan for America if Kamala won.
That alternate timeline is pretty scary.
Fiat world wants to keep you poor.

These judge bans on Doge are effectively codifying the deep state dream that makes audits of the Government illegal.
