This is almost done, a couple small imperfections to fix, like a couple of the copper bits got ripped out by the router when doing the dots, but otherwise, lookin’ pretty sweet! Gonna be a real interesting piece.

A fresh coat shellac on the soundboard after bridge placement, I’m planning on using osmo poly x as the finish here for a real raw natural feel, but as it’s somewhat a penetrating oil I’m sealing the top with shellac to keep from dampening the tone. With any luck I’ll be stringing this up next week.

Been working on this Stewmac Dreadnought kit for a bit, accidentally purchased the glued in neck option instead of the bolt on one, lets say you better follow their directions exactly for that to go smoothly, it wasn’t easy but I finally have the neck angle correct
This neck is nearly complete. From previous posts, I added a headstock veneer on the back side to hide the scarf joint. The benefit is it looks extra custom.
