My girlfriend needs a visa to enter the UK. She has to pay $148, prove her income, show where she'll stay, and when she'll leave. Then she must visit the local Colombian embassy (which means taking an internal flight) to get it validated. And if she isn’t accepted, there’s no refund... they keep our money. So we’re thinking we might just build a rubber dinghy and sail over by boat.... It’s much cheaper, and you get treated 10 times better.

Too many men let the doom and gloom of the timeline dictate their entire mental state. Sure, it's fine to be aware of it, but when that awareness turns into mental oppression, it gets ugly fast. You need to DO something about it. If you're truly worried about being afflicted by a totalitarian dystopian nightmare, then you need to ACT. And the type of action obviously depends on your circumstances (married, single, have your own business or not, etc). But, that's why I've spent the last 3 years travelling most of Latin/South America... So that if things do take a dark turn, then I know I have a plan B. Act, don’t get stuck in your head.
