Peter Todd is will destroy Bitcoin if we let him: We have already allowed him to block Luke's PR request to fix Taproot and we have allowed him to make OP_RETURN to 100,000 bytes as default in the reference implementation. What will be next the hard cap of 21million?! If we allow him, we all deserve to be poor. We lose what we don't protect.

@Dathon Ohm do you know of anyone who would be good at porting BIP 110 into NixOS? Thank so much, as I would like to get it running on the Sovran Pros.

BIP 110 has been merged in the official BIP repo and the code is sound. It temporarily reduces heavy handed non-monetary data. This will give us as a community one year to decide how we like it. Then, it will automatically revert back as if it was never applied (less the heavy handed non-monetary data for that year).

I have still not heard any good evidence from v30 supporters. Maybe the best one is that the whole conflict is a psyop. However, one would have to overcome conjecture to make that evidence hold.
