I get the impression that this is pretty common for Optech readers. Would some periodic less-technical “Optech decoded” or “Optech translated” summary be helpful? image

Gloria Zhao, Niklas Gögge, and b10c discuss 3 recently announced Bitcoin Core vulnerabilities: - DoS vulnerability in headers sync - DoS vulnerability in inventory send queue - Crash vulnerability in compact block relay High severity: An attacker could provide a peer with a chain of low-difficulty headers, which could be used to remotely crash the node. Medium severity: Increased network activity affected block and transaction propagation and dropped connections. High severity: An attacker could remotely crash Bitcoin Core nodes by triggering an assertion in the blocktxn message handling logic.

Brink is fortunate to have received a $3.6m donation from Coinbase to our Bitcoin developer funding efforts. 100% of the no-strings-attached funds will go towards Brink engineers and their open source development work on #Bitcoin Thank you to Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, John Hering and Fred Ehrsam for their support in making this happen! 🚀
