GM โ˜•๏ธ This morning, my son (3, nearly 4) climbed under the covers with me and said "I want to cuddle with you all day and night" and snuggled up to me with just his little face peeking out ๐Ÿฅน Soaking up these peak life moments while I can โค๏ธ Also I think this age is so much cuter than the baby stage (unpopular opinion? ๐Ÿ˜‚)

GM. I got to sleep late today for the first time in a long while. It's been snowing all day, beautiful to watch from the window โ˜•๏ธโ„๏ธ

Being in an intercultural marriage (๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ) is interesting because cultural differences emerge at the most surprising moments. Currently, we are planning our son's 4th birthday party in a few weeks and I thought I might make a jelly, because to me, that's the quintessential kids' party dessert. When I mentioned this to my husband, he looked at me as if I have three heads. He even asked around at his workplace and the reaction was one of confusion and disgust. Now I'm afraid no one will like it, even though it was one of my childhood favourites. Should I make it anyway? Worst-case scenario, I just eat it myself ๐Ÿ˜‚
