I did a 5.3 mile bike ride this morning and followed it up with a 10 minute walk. The ride was a bit rough since I skipped the last two days due to being ill on Saturday evening.

I forgot about BlockSCAD, which is a blockly interface to OpenSCAD you can run right in the browser. I tested it years ago when I was going to teach some kids about 3D modeling.

Look, I don't know if anyone reads my posts, but I do! Sometimes I dig up things I wrote if I forget them. So it's my notebook, but you can look at it.
This time it's getting & setting the viewing angles in OpenSCAD.
(As usual, if you know more than I do please feel free to correct me!)

I found an old Android phone my daughter had from maybe 15 years ago...? Charged it up then booted it up (which took several minutes) and it's not having it. Tried to wipe and reboot, to no avail.
It says "Event by Kyocera" at boot...
Any suggestions?
Someone emailed me saying βHey, letβs do a zoom call tomorrowβ so the first thing I do is launch Zoom, log in, then update it, then log in again, then make sure it worksβ¦
Then the next day I get an invite for a Google Meet. Sighβ¦
Another attempt at making paper... it turned out really well. I made a larger 3D printed mold and deckle and experimented with adding in bits of shredded paper to the pulp. (See the post for more photos.)

I saw the world premiere of βRun Bambi Runβ in Milwaukee last night (with music by Gordon Gano of the Violent Femmes) and holy shit was it good. I loved it! See it if you get a chance.
It's been a while since I did an actual electronics project with an enclosure and everything, but a professor in Chicago got in touch with me about doing a small motor control project so I threw something together.

Pro-Tip: When I needed hernia surgery I asked the doctor (who was a woman) if she could also do a vasectomy since she'd be "down there" and she said "Absolutely" and I got a two for one deal.
So the car I got two years ago is a 2010 and it's the first car I've owned that expects you to have the headlights on all the time (while driving, I mean) and the headlights have failed again.
Is that just the norm for a car that has the headlights always-on thing? My old car didn't seem to chew through them as quickly.
