I had to get blood drawn for my physical today and the woman who was doing it seemed sort of cold and unapproachable (which hey, I totally get!) but when she mentioned the scratch on my arm I said “Oh yeah, my cat got a little excited last night” and then she lit up and we talked about cats the whole time. Sometime you just gotta figure out how to connect with people to brighten their day.

I had a few interactions with Sam McPheeters over the years and most of them were amusing (to me, anyway). ➡️

While I do really like TIC-80 I’ve found that most of the games just run too slow on the Anbernic RG35XX. One that does work is Robavoid, which doesn’t rely on things moving quickly. There is one game I tested that showed the FPS and it looks like it’s just too slow for most games with fast movement or jumping. (Almost every PICO-8 game plays fast enough though.)
