Am I being a bitch when I say I am annoyed by Phoenix Wallet fees? Like, okay, 75 sats isn't the end of the world but, come ON, this is the best they can do? Jesus, whenever I make that much in routing fees or nostr shit posts, I'm like "Really? I kinda didn't do anything."

Bitcoin hedge wizard. Do not consult me unless as a last resort.
Personally can't wait to see how all these BIP-110 influencer-types cope when they realize they've immolated their bitcoin reputations. They basically zotted their Pokémon game and have to start from Pallet Town.
Hey look, having kooky ideas about what you put in your body actually has consequences.

Hosting e-commerce with bitcoin is actually so hard and expensive, it's stupid.
"Just integrate BTCPayServer with Shopify!"
Shopify: $40/month minimum. Customization of the template adds greater upfront cost.
BTCPayServer: Requires bitcoin full node, a lightning node, an NBXplorer indexer, and a place to host. Most people just lease a lightning node in the cloud, like with LunaNode, which is like an $20 a month and you STILL have to manage channels and liquidity.
This is insane. Why the fuck is it like this. It's like we've been making internet native currency work like shit. On the internet. As currency.
On-chain enjoyooors: Let's make bitcoin simple and accessible to everyone by giving them a static on-chain address Day 1 on nostr!

Today I learned that satoshi was just as bad as getting people to run nodes as I am.

I can't believe after an hour with AI, I understand nftables/iptables, NAT, conntrack, and IP masquerading on a level I never thought I would. O'Reilly must be shitting their pants over how much better AI is at explaining technology than they are.
