The thing I love about bitcoin is how little opinion and narratives actually matter. Miners are largely intellectually and emotionally disengaged. They do back-of-the-napkin math, plug shit in, and toggle power. They secure the network and settle transactions. Influencers are the exact opposite. Influencers just tell plebs stories to keep them occupied while they wait around to get rich. The plebs begin to believe the stories are real and then form meetups to tell each other what their favorite stories are. Amd none of that matters in the least. The miners don't care and matter the most. The influencer-to-pleb story pipeline is based on caring and none of it matters at all.

I have a theory that nature produces creatures that look and act like us, but reveal themselves to be "hollowed out" automotatons; a sort of natural artificial intelligence, incapable of learning or adapting. I think they are mostly over 50 and use Facebook the same way that actual artificial intelligence uses moltbot. The only real difference between them and the bots is that they have bank accounts and social security numbers. View quoted note →

AI just paid for itself probably 9 times over by helping me troubleshoot my garbage disposal and avoid hiring a plumber..

Believe it or not, being a farty thinkboi who pretends he's a guest on a farty thinkboi podcast is NOWHERE in the whitepaper. This episode of your endless bullshit is brought to you by Main Character Syndrome. View quoted note →

I like it when people just tell you they are stupid and/or inexperienced. My latest favorite version of this phenomenon is 20-something trad moids talking about how prescription medications are a sign you are weak or not taking care of yourself in some white-knuckle test of your indominable will power. My brother in Christ, try living without a thyroid for a week. Or a congenital immunodifficiency. Or a transplanted organ. Prescription medications have emptied madhouses to the point we barely have madhouses anymore. Stop thinking nature is your optimal state. Nature has killed the majority of humans before they were 30.

Why is the Mac mini so important for managing remote agents? Because it's an isolated environment? Wouldn't an old laptop serve the we purpose?
