Posting from Monstr the soon to be alpha tested monero nostr client :D UPDATES (Built out/merged) The RSS and Long Reads functionality. Clicking Long Reads/RSS icon takes you to a feed where you can see nostr articles from people you follow and RSS feeds you susbscribe too. I made the RSS feeds encrypt to your nostr so they should follow you but has a local storage backup if relays poop themselves. Merged Feed looks like this The settings/add rss feeds looks like this: All Articles are visible in monstr and look like this :D I have also added a toggle for following feed and global feed. Oh my goodness do we need some extreme filtering for global feed its crazy wild west and i was raised on 4chan and im saying that. I got the bot to handle backend stuf. Everything is nostr based now. When a monstr user adds the monero wallet details its encrypted between them and the bot. When someone wants to tip a user it goes like this using all encrypted events. Tip post->Monstrbot checks if that person has a wallet->Monstrbot generates form->user leaves blank or types message, hits confirm->Monstrbot generates invoice->user pays invoice-> Monstr bot checks for payment->Monstrbot confirms->Monstrbot notifies receiver.

What if the right column of a social media feed was useful instead of "trending" by someone elses algo. Think I'm gonna add bookmarks and I was wondering about a media feed of some form, newpipe or a minimal podcast player

Going to change the terminology used in monstr because it just isn't accurate to use "subscription" and I hate the parasitic nature of subscriptions. It shall be called a pledge. There will be no "bought" tiers or ranks, if there are going to be tiers or ranks to the pledges then it can only be gained through time itself.
