Has anyone made a #bitcoin calculator where we can determine how many years your bitcoin holdings can last given inflation, cost of living, current salary, family members, cost of kids education, etc And then add future Bitcoin products like borrowing against bitcoin, trading it for other assets, generating yield, etc, as a way to not sell your Bitcoin if possible. Would love to know the time frame. E.g. 1 #btc will last for X years, 2 btc will last for XXX years, and so on.

When people ask how much #bitcoin is enough, there are three answers. 1. Technical answer: your goal is to have more bitcoin than the block subsidy reward. This is the incentive for any miner to compete and if it’s sufficient for them, it’s enough for you. 2. Emotional answer: your goal is to have at least 1 full bitcoin for each member of your immediate family to live off, pass down, etc. 3. Real answer: you can never have enough of a scarce desirable asset. And you are uniquely positioned in this early stage to acquire it at a reasonable price.

Just watched @Michael Saylor's presentation at the Cantor Crypto event. This might be the most important #bitcoin presentation he’s ever given. Cantor Fitzgerald is 1 of the 24 authorized companies to work with government debt markets. In other words, what Cantor does, everyone follows. Their CEO, Howard Lutnick, is bullish AF on #btc and intends to become a primary service provider to Bitcoin in capital markets. Plus he individually owns a ton of bitcoin. Good times ahead thanks to these financial giants.

The #Trump #bitcoin play isn’t being discussed to its fullest potential. Beyond buying #btc in their most economical way, the #US is going to start #mining. Trump is all about energy and be assured we will attach mining rigs to every single drilling operation. The US may factor their mined btc into the strategic reserve, but more importantly, they will be supply hash power to secure the network, probably create their own pool, and further decentralize the mining network. Buckle tf up.

A lot of people get #bitcoin’s inflation rate wrong. Currently it is disinflationary, where the rate of inflation of the circulating supply is decreasing as it approaches its finality. Once we hit that in ~2140, #btc is a fixed supply. However, the dynamic of bitcoin being unrecoverable in cyberspace forces it to be involuntarily deflationary, as the number of accessible bitcoin will slowly deplete over a long enough time period. What a phenomenon!
