Bitcoin กับบทเรียนจากภัยพิบัติ: ประสบการณ์จากเมืองยะลา
เหตุภัยพิบัติครั้งนี้ทำให้ผมตระหนักหนักแน่นยิ่งกว่าเดิมว่า เราควรมี Bitcoin เป็นหนึ่งในสินทรัพย์ของชีวิตเรา
ขณะที่คุณกำลังอ่านข้อความนี้ ผมเองกำลังเผชิญกับเหตุอุทกภัยที่รุนแรงในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ของประเทศไทย ผมอาศัยอยู่ใน เมืองยะลา และ บ้านของผมถูกน้ำท่วมไปเรียบร้อยแล้ว
ภัยพิบัติครั้งนี้กินพื้นที่กว้างไกล หลายจังหวัดได้รับผลกระทบรุนแรงจนมีผู้เสียชีวิตมากกว่าที่ผู้คนในพื้นที่เคยพบเจอ หลายปัจจัยร่วมกันก่อให้เกิดโศกนาฏกรรมนี้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความไม่พร้อม การคาดไม่ถึง หรือความไม่เชื่อมั่นต่อระบบการจัดการภัยพิบัติของรัฐ
แต่อีกหนึ่งปัจจัยสำคัญที่ทำให้สถานการณ์เลวร้ายขึ้น คือ
ผู้คนต่างหวงแหนบ้าน หวงทรัพย์สิน และไม่สามารถทิ้งสิ่งของของตัวเองได้
ความผูกพันต่อทรัพย์สินทำให้หลายคนลังเล ไม่ยอมอพยพออกจากพื้นที่อันตราย
และความลังเลเพียงเสี้ยววินาทีนี้เองที่กลายเป็นต้นเหตุของความสูญเสียที่ไม่ควรเกิดขึ้น
ในขณะที่บ้านผมกำลังจมน้ำ ผมมีเวลาเพียงไม่นานในการตัดสินใจ
แต่สิ่งที่ผมต้องพกออกมาจริง ๆ มีเพียง Hardware Wallet, คอมพิวเตอร์ และเสื้อผ้าไม่กี่ชุด
แม้ทรัพย์สินในบ้านจะพังหมด แต่ผมก็ยังมั่นใจได้ว่า
ผมยังมี Bitcoin ที่สามารถพาผมเริ่มต้นใหม่ได้ทุกที่ ทุกเวลา
นี่คือความแตกต่างระหว่างคนที่รู้จัก Bitcoin และคนที่ยังไม่มีโอกาสได้เรียนรู้
หลายคนยังผูกพันกับทรัพย์สินที่ต้องจับต้องได้ และเมื่อถึงเวลาที่ต้องทิ้งมันจริง ๆ พวกเขาก็ทำไม่ได้ ทำให้ชีวิตตกอยู่ในความเสี่ยงโดยไม่จำเป็น
ประสบการณ์ครั้งนี้ทำให้ผมเข้าใจว่า
Bitcoin ทำให้ผมรักชีวิตมากขึ้น มองสถานการณ์รอบตัวได้เร็วขึ้น และแบกรับความกังวลน้อยลง
เมื่อเราไม่กังวลว่าจะสูญเสียทรัพย์สินที่ต้องแบกออกมา เราก็
– ตัดสินใจได้เร็วกว่า
– หนีภัยได้ไวกว่า
– ปลอดภัยกว่า
– และเริ่มต้นใหม่ได้ง่ายกว่า
แต่ทั้งหมดนี้จะเกิดขึ้นได้ก็ต่อเมื่อเราเรียนรู้ ศึกษา และเข้าใจ Bitcoin อย่างจริงจัง
วันนี้ ผมอยากขอแรงสนับสนุนจากทุกคนที่เห็นข้อความนี้

Bitcoin and the Lessons of Disaster: A Personal Story from Yala
This disaster has reminded me more clearly than ever that Bitcoin should be part of the assets we hold in our lives.
As you read this, I am living through a severe flood affecting Southern Thailand.
I live in the city of Yala, and my own home has already been flooded.
This disaster has swept across multiple provinces, causing more casualties than anyone here has ever experienced. Many factors contributed to this tragedy—lack of preparedness, unpredictable conditions, and declining trust in the state’s disaster management.
But one crucial factor stands out:
People are deeply attached to their homes, belongings, and physical possessions.
This attachment makes evacuation slow and difficult. Many cannot bring themselves to leave their property behind—even when their lives are in danger.
And that hesitation has turned this event into a heartbreaking tragedy.
When my home was submerged, I had only a brief moment to decide what to take with me.
In the end, I walked out with only my hardware wallet, my laptop, and a few clothes.
Even if everything inside my house is destroyed, I know I still carry something that cannot be washed away:
my Bitcoin — the one asset that allows me to rebuild my life anywhere.
This is the difference between those who understand Bitcoin and those who have never had the chance to learn.
Many remain tied to physical possessions, and when the moment comes to abandon them, they simply cannot—putting their lives at unnecessary risk.
This experience has taught me that
Bitcoin helps me value my life more, see the situation clearly, and carry far less anxiety.
When you are not burdened by the fear of losing your belongings, you can:
– make faster decisions
– evacuate earlier
– stay safer
– and rebuild more easily
But this only becomes possible when you study, learn, and truly understand Bitcoin.
