So yesterdays shave with mild blades and a fixed safety razor (on the left) for the first time worked out pretty well. Closest shave i ever had. Only issue was that it was pulling hairs so when i stsrted shaving against the grain i started getting some nicks. So i overnight ordered a new setup (on the right) with two brands of ultra sharp blades and a new adjustable safty razor. Despite popular opinion i got less nicks and a smoother shaving when i used the sharper razor in either saftey razor, but the adjustable was nice. Both brands of high sharpness blades performed equally superior to the mild with the feather being slightly better, no nicks! Also trying out some various oils and creams for before and after. image
