Watched a video this morning of Sly Stallone talking about how soft the world had become (no longer allowing 8oz gloves in the ring). Reminded me of a passage from Bushido about adversity & growth. Society has become stagnant because we’re soft. We’ve stopped growing, creating & producing bc we’re comfortable. Perhaps that’s the hidden blessing behind clown world? To give us some adversity to fight & contend with. Sure. It’s a humiliation ritual having to fight with retards - but we brought it onto ourselves. We need to transcend them, and seek a new, more worthy opponent. It’s time to reach again. For something higher.

The word "bushido" is composed of three Japanese characters: 武 (bu) and 士 (shi) which together mean "warrior," and 道 (do) which means "way." The word "do" can also be translated as "path," "principle," or "teaching," depending on the context. Therefore, the word "bushido" can be translated as "the way of the warrior," "the warrior's path," or "the warrior's principles." Bu-shi-do can also, and more literally, translate to Military-Knight-Way, which was the manner in which fighting nobles should engage in daily life as well as their vocation.

The intricacy of this armour is absolutely incredible. Pictured here is Hiroyuki Sanada playing “Torunaga” in Shogun - James Clavell’s epic which fictionalised the real period where “Ieyasu” unified Japan and became the Shogun. Have not watched the show yet, but Sanada is one of the best actors in the world, and certainly one of the best in Japan. I hope it does justice to the book. I believe it was @FRANCIS - BULLBITCOIN.COM that first told me about the book - or maybe someone else. Either way - go read it !!
