Tearing out the tongue and groove ceiling in my house today and found this stashed... Published 1982. My home was built in 1972 by the founders of RC Wiley. One of their sons knocked on my door about a decade ago and left me his business card. Said if I was ever interested in selling, to call him first. Maybe he just was worried, lol. #smut

NOSTR was more exciting during the last bear, zaps flying everywhere, people paying random invoices when posted, zapathons, new clients and clients rolling out new features daily. A lot of excitement around the protocol. Anyway. Onward.

Salt 6 tsp. Cornstarch mixed w/ 1/2 cup cold water WON TON SKINS 2 Package Small Wonton Skins 1 egg, beaten (for sealing) 2 cups Oil, Lard or Tallow for frying PREPARATION: Heat fat in pan and stir-fry pork and ginger until pork is done. Set aside, In same pan, stir fry scallions, cabbage and celery for 5 minutes. Add the bean sprouts then add the pork. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, salt and then add the cornstarch mixture. Add sauce to the pork mixture and heat and stir until it thickens, Place 1 tablespoon of the mixture in center of a wonton skin. Fold top corner of skin over filling tucking tip of corner under filling: fold like a burrito. Lightly brush remaining corner with beaten egg. Tightly roll filled end toward the remaining corner and gently press to seal. Deep-fry a few at a time in lard, oil, tallow at 300 until light brown and crispy. Personally find it easier to work with after mixture refrigerates over night, but generally have to make a batch to satisfy the family, 😂. Egg rolls can be frozen after fried and cooled. #foodstr

Around 1860, a French singer named Mademoiselle Zélie went on a world tour with her brother and two other singers. At a stop on a small island in the South Pacific, where most people didn't use money, the singers agreed to sell tickets in exchange for whatever goods the islanders could provide. The show was a hit. A local chief attended. They sold 816 tickets. Zélie sang five songs from popular operas of the day. In a letter to her aunt, Zélie cataloged her pay for the show: "3 pigs, 23 turkeys, 44 hens, 5000 coconuts, 1200 pineapples, 120 bushels of bananas, 120 pumpkins, 1500 oranges." But the windfall, Zélie wrote, left her with a problem. "What to do with these proceeds?" "I am told that a speculator from a nearby island... Will arrive tomorrow to make cash offers to me and my comrades. in the meantime, to keep our pigs alive, we feed them the pumpkins while the turkeys and chickens eat the bananas and oranges." #bitcoin

Anybody into crochet or have someone they know who is? My daughter has worked hard creating her website. It'd be super cool if her first sale was in bitcoin. She has a few patterns available for a great deal. She designed and wrote them by herself. She also hand paints eyes, and loves making stuffed animals for littles. #crochet #crafts #pattern #handmade

My son used Claude to build a game. He drew the characters and keeps adding features when he has a new idea. If you'd like to check it out or have any feedback for him, he'd appreciate. Go easy on him, though, he's 13. drysky515@getalby.com in case you wanna zap him. image
