Nix-based CI can get really nice caching once you set it up properly. This is a run where none of the actual code changes. Only slow thing is the "nix develop" which builds the dev environment. It spends all it's time downloading from a remote cache. But once I move this to a self-hosted runner, then that cache can exist locally on the machine and this will also take just a few seconds.
None of this tooling depends on GitHub's way of doing things, which is nice. No vendor lockin.

Make a little Android app for reposting content from centralized platforms like X or TikTok to Nostr

New rule: if I observe bugginess in a nostr client, I report the bug and switch to a different client on that platform.
Everything is too buggy.
Going to give jumble.social a try. Primal.net tries and fails to upload videos, and frequently gives a "can't connect to your relays" message when I try to post.
Got some UI tests working in rust-multiplatform. Write one test in Rust and it can run against iOS, Android and web apps via Appium. Here is this test for example
Now I just need to make it run a lot faster.

I refuse to learn what a PassKey is
Calisthenics is a great way to exercise. You can do it outside. Minimal equiptment required - public parks have plenty. Easy on the joints. Hard to get injured.
One difficulty with nostr app development is push notifications. Normal apps just use iOS and Google plumbing, but that feels a little wrong.
Another option I just found out about is UnifiedPush. Have any of you ever investigated? Is this something nostr apps should embrace?

Gonna shit out so much vibe code this weekend … I can just feel it
Amazing things could happen if the nostr developer ecosystem had a GPU cluster

FWIW I thought nostr was hopeless for the past ~3 years and just started getting interested recently
