I have now manager to install and run Matrix, Matrix synapse admin and Element, but still need to figure out how to enable Federation and S3. Miettinyt tässä, että mitä voidaan oppia case #MastodoFi:stä. Ainakin, että yhden henkilön varassa instanssissa on aina sellainen tietty epävarmuus. Vaikka itse olen todella intohimoisesti mukana ja homma jatkuu niin pitkään kuin minussa henki pihisee (ja todennäköisesti sen jälkeenkin, koska olen tehnyt valmisteluja), olisi mukavaa, että olisi joku toinenkin joka pystyisi tarvittaessa ottamaan ohjat, jos olen estynyt. Tästä heräsi ajatus. Meitä suomalaisia admineita on jonkin verran, siis sellaisia jotka pyörittää instanssiaan yksin. Mitä jos perustettaisiin jokin suomi-MastoAdmin-kollektiivi, jossa auteltaisiin toisiamme? Miitattaisiin vaikka IRL tai videoitse. Näin tulisi sellaista lisäturvaa hommaan.
