I'm excited to join#[0] and#[1] tonight at 6:30pm ET on#[2].
It's been fascinating to watch Nostr evolve and grow, and I'm looking forward to talking through how this network and Bitcoin intersect with the kind of work I do at Reason. See you tonight!

I haven't been invited to BlueSky yet so cannot comment on it.
But I am curious, at a protocol level, what are the most significant differences between Nostr and AT Protocol?
The most surprising part of today’s discussion with presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy was his commitment to pardon Julian Assange and abolish the FBI.
Lots to disagree with throughout, but I found those statements to be intriguing, especially from a GOP candidate.

Just enjoying some coffee purchased via generous zapped sats at the Bitcoin Center of Roatan in the private charter city of Prospera. Thanks for tips, nostriches. Stay tuned for the documentary of this adventure.

The trends in global freedom are not good, not good at all. Yet, there is some reason for hope…
Anyone know if there is a fairly easy way to syndicate a social feed to Nostr? I would like to get reason’s feed on here, but I think doing it manually is going to be a no-go for now.
Really pleased to see #[0] joining here. Let’s hope it brings a new influx of interesting people.
The NYT article will cause at least some readers to chin scratch and wonder, “But WHY does bitcoin mining use so much electricity? What value is being created through this expensive process?”
And some of them will seek and find the answer to that.
My takeaway from the recent convo with Balaji (who mentions Nostr as a vital tool here): Not so sure btc to $1 million by this summer, but the trends are indeed alarming.
I have a feeling a lot of Twitter users could become quickly disenchanted once non-Blue subscribers are removed from the algorithmic feed as Elon has stated will happen next month.
Wonder where they’ll go?
Going live with Balaji and banking/monetary expert Lawrence H. White this Thursday to discuss THE BET.
Hope some of you can jump on into the chat.
Nixon, 1971: "I've directed Secretary Connelly to suspend, TEMPORARILY, the convertibility of the dollar to gold or other reserve assets..."
Don't worry, it's only temporary.
Whom would you like to see debate Balaji next week on Reason’s channel?
So do we think Balaji is serious?
I've learned a lot reading and then talking with
#[0] and Arnold Kling.
Check out this bit where we discussed moral hazard issues, the effects that regulations have had on banking innovation and competence and the dangers of "zombie banks."
Always a little surprising when posts get more engagement on Nostr than on Twitter despite the much wider reach of the latter.
Unsurprisingly, #[0] killed it in this recent interview I hosted discussing Silicon Valley Bank, Bitcoin, "operation chokepoint 2.0" and the insolvency of the Federal Reserve itself. https://www.youtube.com/live/WalAt5nyJY0
