My parents spilt when I was a kid, I stayed with my dad.. it was what I wanted. My father coached me and taught me in almost every sport. I always used to think he just liked being hard on me. At the end of practices if we were doing 50 sprints, he’d make me do 75. If we were doing 10 laps, he’d make me do 20 etc. He would always tell me, son.. you work to separate. Even if I was not coach, I’d tell you to do the same thing. When everyone else is getting tired, that’s when you want your second wind kicking in. The world has lost sight of the dire importance of fathers, and it shows. Rip dad, I fucking miss you man. #fathers #are #important
