If you are trying to use Rana to mine a vanity npub, you should probably use an older version. There seems to be a major performance regression in the latest version on GitHub. Top half of this screenshot is running the latest version on my M1 Mac Studio with 10 cores. Bottom half is running the v0.4.0 version of Rana. V0.4.0 is ≈7x faster on my Mac. On a 96 core EC2 instance, it’s ≈10x faster.
