The Matrix resonates deeply because it mirrors a truth about our reality. The world we see is a facade, veiling the true spiritual realm of God, Jesus, angels, Satan, and demons waging war around us. The Bible is the phone booth—God's revelation. Jesus Christ is the "One" with ultimate power over this world. Satan, the great deceiver, convinces many that this material world is all there is. Reject the blue pill of blissful ignorance and a life chasing fleeting gains. Choose the red pill of faith. True freedom and joy don't come from living for yourself but from surrendering to Christ. The eternal spiritual life is what truly matters. John 8:31-32 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, 'If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Nehemiah 2:18 And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work. Nehemiah 3 goes on to explain how many different kinds of people, both leaders and workers, got together to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. It's a gracious reward to experience collaboration and to be part of a team building something much greater than oneself. To experience the building of a large project where each person has a unique role is many times underappreciated. It takes humility and devotion (especially at the dung gate!) but the greater good far outweighs the temporary struggles and pain.

I'm just trying to buy some tea of adagio.com. My duck duck go browser won't let me see much on their website. At first I'm annoyed with the browser, but way more frustrated that all these sites (Microsoft, Facebook, etc.) are tracking. Consumer privacy will be a long uphill battle. image

Romans 8:18-19 "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God." Life is tough. But as bad as it can possibly be, the glory of Christ's return, will immensely outweigh these temporary struggles. The new earth will be perfectly optimized, no waste, everything in unity with the same ultimate purpose, and no increasing of entropy... I can't even imagine how great it'll be.

1 Peter 5:8-9 "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world." I'm not too surprised anymore when i hear about the terrible things mega corporations and government do. "They" are controlled by the devil and his demons. Many of these puppets are pretty dense, some are very cunning, but "they" are being coordinated by the devil in an organized manner with purpose. Stay focused. Stay humble. Stay patient. May God's grace and peace abound.

Starting my plan to move to a small farm to grow vegetables and animals. Found a few good books but let me know if you have any recommendations. Videos welcomed too. Midwest US and a little over10 acres. Has a little 2 acre pond on it too. I'm pretty excited but have to stay realistic and ease into it. Can't give up my fiat job... Not yet at least!

The idea of time preference comes up a lot on Bitcoin conversations. But still feel like it's under stated. Maybe it's a personality trait specific to individuals, but to be able to store money in one spot without having to worry about it's future is such a rewarding and liberating mindset. I only want to spend what i need and save the rest for various opportunities or emergencies that inevitably come up in the future. Prior Bitcoin conviction, i had dozens of investment. Every month or sooner i would evaluate and stress over how to best diversify. Digging through company financials. Trying to come up with stock screeners and complicated Excel automated tools. No matter what direction i took, i had this gut feeling i was being ripped off or making a genuine bad decision. After years of researching and learning about Bitcoin, I gained full conviction of it's value. I still read the news every day and try to find anything to disprove my conviction. With each day of failed arguments against Bitcoin, my energy continues to increase on more important things like my family, community, what i eat, exercise, and most of all, devotion to my God. Having money stored away for future uses when i need it is life changing. It's always there. It's ever growing. I think a lot about what business i could start when it grows 10x in a few years. Or who i could help if i have more money than what i need. I'm becoming less of a slave to fiat and more of a contributor to society and specifically my local community.

Learning how to use Linux on Ubuntu recently. Hard to find the time but the more I learn the more excited I am about it. First of many steps to remove myself from the large domineering companies such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc. Seeking the grander goals of freedom, self sovereignty, and privacy.

Received a letter from a church in Myanmar today. Civil war there continues to intensify. The Burmese are experiencing: "inflation, shortage of every good, closing down of so many businesses, hopelessness, depression, lost meaning in life, so on. People cannot smile anymore; actually our country is famous for happiness and smiling, but now, no more." Continue to pray for the people there. There government restricts financial support with dollars. Would like to explore ways to set up Bitcoin with them

I do a quarterly assessments of my financial allocations and each time my first impression is that I have too high of a percentage of my wealth in Bitcoin. But each time, after a couple of more weeks of listening and reading of @preston, @ODELL, @Lyn Alden, and plenty of others on NOSTR, I come back to the realization of the urgent need to persevere away from the FIAT standard and buy some more hard, energy-backed Sats. Really appreciate all the research and knowledge sharing of this community. Emotionally and socially difficult but logically easy... Just a typical American trying to navigate the monetary mess this world is in.
